Project Serious 2023 - The Giving Plate Award Winner
Project Serious is an annual community-driven initiative where $20,000 worth of services are donated to those in need. The project alternates each year between helping an individual or family in need and supporting a non-profit organization to better serve our community.
New Building Capital Campaign
After eleven years of serving the Central Oregon community, on August 17, 2021, The Giving Plate closed on a loan and now owns its very first building!
2023 Impact & Achievements
2023 marked a year of resilience and unwavering support at The Giving Plate as we worked to finish our two construction projects amidst numerous hurdles while experiencing an ever-growing demand for food.

2022 will be a year I will never forget. It taught me many lessons about the power of stepping in faith toward our dreams and what is possible when we do, as well as the power of a community coming together around an idea
2021 Impact & Achievements
This year, we secured a new facility for us to operate from and have begun the permitting process to remodel it with hopes of moving into the building in early 2023.
2020 Impact & Achievements
We were stretched, we grew, and we are stronger as an organization because of it. Our community rose up in displays of beauty and creativity as they looked out at ways they can be part of the solution by giving back of their time, resources, and heart.

The Giving Plate was one of five Central Oregon nonprofits nominated for The Bend Chamber 2019 Nonprofit of the Year!
Quota International of Central Oregon’s 2019 Black and White Holiday Gala
Thank you to Quota International of Central Oregon for selecting The Giving Plate as the 2019 beneficiary. An incredible $11,475 was raised during their Raise the Paddle fundraiser!
100+ Women Who Care award The Giving Plate $20,500
“We are incredibly grateful to have been chosen by the 100+ Women Who Care group,” says Ranae Staley, executive director for The Giving Plate. “The funding we received will allow us to add a new key employee to our team, which will position us to continue to grow to meet the needs of food-insecurity in Central Oregon.”
Grow & Give - Hydroponic Garden
With four days to spare in 2019, the Central Oregon community rallied to raise the funds for The Giving Plate to start an exciting new hydroponic garden project inside their facility.
The Giving Plate wins $12,000 at Leadership Bend Impact Summit 2018
On May 1st, 2018 The Giving Plate and four other Central Oregon non-profits earned the opportunity to speak at the 2018 Leadership Bend Impact Summit for a chance to win $12,000 or an audience award of $2,500.
